October 28th 2011 Ferrymead Brookhaven goes GREEN - Land Zone Technical Category 3 Blue TC3. When this blog started (Sept 2011) Brookhaven was in Orange Zone and most of Ferrymead in White Zone - the purpose of this blog is to inform residents of communications with CERA and developments effecting the suburbs of both Brookhaven and Ferrymead since the devastating earthquakes on Feb 22, June 13, & 23 Dec 2011 in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Major Sewer Cave-in in Teal Close, Brookhaven
The ground has given way and temporary pipes are in place, one property has 2 1/2 metre deep whole. Repairs are expected to take 2 to 3 weeks. Teal Close backs on to Dyers Road where there are temporary speed restrictions in place.
